Dieses Blog-System, mit dem auch meine beiden Websites gottsucher.de und stefanbion.de laufen, kommt ganz ohne Datenbank und Benutzerverwaltung aus und besteht nur aus einer "Handvoll" PHP-Dateien. Das System lässt sich leicht installieren und bei Bedarf auch leicht und ohne aufwendige Migration zu einem anderen Webspace-Anbieter "umziehen". Durch das offene Dateiformat HTML hat man immer die volle Kontrolle über den Inhalt und die Gestaltung der Blog-Artikel.
This blog system, which also powers my two websites gottsucher.de and stefanbion.de, does not require a database and consists of just a „handful“ of PHP files. It is easy to install and, if necessary, can also be easily moved to another web space provider without any time-consuming migration. Um das Blog-System nutzen zu können, muss es auf einem Webserver installiert werden, der PHP unterstützt. Es gibt sowohl kommerzielle als auch kostenlose Anbieter. Möchte man eine eigene Domain für die Website haben (z.B. beispiel.de), wird man wohl zu einem kommerziellen Anbieter greifen müssen. Bei Strato beispielsweise bekommt man 50 GB Webspace inklusive 1 Domain mit SSL-Zertifikat (https) für 5 €/Monat; bei Manitu kostet es sogar nur die Hälfte (Stand: Juni 2024).
